Management Consulting Services

Nonprofit organizations and government agencies that work with them are often searching for assistance in startup processes or organizational renewal issues. Nonprofit startup or organizational renewal typically includes the 5-8 key components outlined in this section (click on header above). Many of these items are glossed over in the rush to get to an operational stage by nonprofit organizations. But each step provides a key building block, which if not done well, can cause failure in the organization at a later date. GG&A coaches organizations through these steps so that their vision can truly become a reality.

Aboriginal Consultation

A second key component of the services that GG&A has provided has been Aboriginal Consultation. GG&A, in partnership with Shipley Management Services Ltd, provide management consulting to ensure energy clients meet all of regulatory requirements and build successful relationships with the First Nations, Metis Locals, and other Aboriginal groups within their project regions.
The Government of Alberta and the regulatory bodies (Aboriginal & International Affairs, Alberta Environment, & Alberta Sustainable Resource Development) require energy firms to meet the consultation processes of Alberta First Nations Consultation Policy & Guidelines for projects that are on or in proximity to aboriginal traditional lands. They also have standard reporting mechanisms to ensure the Policy & Guidelines are being met by energy firms during their project regulatory application process.

Public Infrastructure Consultation

Since early 2006, GG&A has partnered with The Praxis Group in Calgary to provide community survey research and stakeholder/landowner consultation services. Grant Galpin has provided these services, acting as a senior team member on the community & stakeholder consultation teams.
